TheraPro Method Level 1 provides massage therapists with a structured and evidence-informed approach to working with clients experiencing mild to moderate pain and injuries. This course integrates key assessment techniques and foundational soft tissue mobilizations to create a comprehensive and progressive treatment plan for clients. Therapists will learn to assess movement dysfunctions and apply effective hands-on techniques like IASTM. Texas Massage Therapists will receive 12 hours of Continuing Education to count towards re-licensure.

Required Materials:

  • Massage Table

  • IASTM tools (Gua-sha, Scrapers, etc.)

  • Medium (oil preferably)

Upon completion of TheraPro Method Level 1, participants will be able to:

  1. Client Intake & Assessment:

    • Conduct a structured intake process to gather relevant client history.

    • Perform assessments to identify movement limitations.

  2. Hands-On Techniques:

    • Apply IASTM, passive, and active soft tissue mobilization techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.

    • Understand the contraindications and indications for each technique.

  3. Clinical Reasoning & Application:

    • Develop critical thinking skills to decide which techniques to apply based on assessment findings.

    • Create individualized treatment plans that integrate soft tissue work with self-care strategies.

  4. Professional Scope & Ethics:

    • Understand the limitations of massage therapy within the scope of practice.

    • Communicate effectively with clients about expectations, goals, and realistic outcomes.

Participants will be provided with digital copies of course materials. Participants should bring their own table and medium.
